Summary

This study analyzed the extent and methods of reader consideration by middle school writers. The results showed that middle school students generally do not actively use reader consideration strategies, primarily employing the drawing-in strategy. To improve students’ reader consideration skills, it is necessary to provide writing tasks that encourage interaction with the reader.
