Summary

This study compares and analyzes the youth harmful media review systems in Korea and Germany. Both countries operate the Youth Protection Committee and the Youth Media Protection Committee to protect youth, but there are differences in legal systems and the scope of authority. The study concludes that Korea needs to diversify the composition of the committee, centralize the decision-making process, and strengthen self-regulatory organizations.
