Summary

This study investigated the effect of note-taking strategies on English listening ability in high school students during English listening assessments. The results showed a significant correlation between the degree of note-taking use, attitude, and listening assessment scores, and effective note-taking methods were found to increase the correct answer rate. This suggests the importance of teachers guiding students to select and use appropriate note-taking methods considering their level and assessment type.
