Summary

This study explored the mediating effect of covert narcissism in the relationship between dysfunctional communication of mothers and aggression of children. The results from late school-age children showed that dysfunctional communication of mothers was related to both aggression and covert narcissism of children, exhibiting different patterns based on gender. Furthermore, covert narcissism mediated the impact of dysfunctional communication of mothers on aggression of children.
