Summary

This study investigated the mediating effects of difficulties in emotion regulation on the relationship between evaluative concern perfectionism, personal standard perfectionism, and academic burnout among repeaters. The results showed that evaluative concern perfectionism directly and indirectly influenced academic burnout through difficulties in emotion regulation, while the impact of personal standard perfectionism on academic burnout was suppressed by difficulties in emotion regulation.
