This study examined the effect of the senior job creation program on the quality of life of the elderly by comparing participants and non-participants. The results showed that the well-being of senior job creation program participants was significantly higher than that of non-participants, and that well-being was higher for those participating in education and welfare types compared to the public service type. This suggests that improving the quality of life of the elderly can be contributed through the quantitative expansion and qualitative improvement of the senior job creation program, strengthening job training, and expanding various types of jobs.
