Summary

This study aims to derive implications for establishing Korean multicultural education policies by comparatively analyzing cases of advanced multicultural education countries. The research results emphasize the importance of establishing a civic integration structure that pursues ‘integration through diversity’ and mutually respects cultural understanding and identity preservation, and confirms that national awareness conversion and consensus building are essential for this purpose.
