Summary
This study aims to identify the characteristics of indoor space planning based on the types of childcare centers (public, private, workplace, and home) in Ulsan and to suggest improvement measures. The results showed that workplace childcare centers had larger spaces compared to other types, with the ratio of care, staff, and service areas being 64.69%, 11.95%, and 23.32%, respectively. Furthermore, considering the classroom area per child is necessary to improve the quality of childcare.
