This study aims to explore the future direction of work-family reconciliation policies in Korea by analyzing the policy types of OECD countries and comparing their socio-economic performance. The analysis revealed that countries with both defamilialization and degendering policies well-developed showed better performance in terms of fertility rate, female labor force participation rate, and child poverty rate. This suggests that Korean society needs to explore a new policy direction that emphasizes degendering factors.
