Summary

This study analyzed the life histories of 8 elderly women receiving National Basic Livelihood Security to explore solutions for the phenomenon of poverty among elderly women living alone. The analysis revealed specific dimensions of life, turning points, and adaptation processes, based on which policy and practical measures for preventing and addressing poverty among elderly women were proposed.
