Summary

This study analyzed the perception of the elderly among social work students using Q-methodology, identifying three types: those emphasizing the dignity of the elderly, those emphasizing role attribution, and those emphasizing preparation for the elderly's later life. The results indicate a generally positive perception of the elderly among students, which can be utilized as educational material for prospective social work practitioners.
