Summary

This study aims to present directions for improving the application process of G-SEED, the representative green building certification system for sustainable architecture in Korea. Practical issues in applying G-SEED to office buildings were identified through in-depth interviews with architects and analysis of certified building assessments, and improvement strategies were derived from international certification case studies. The findings suggest that integrating the G-SEED application process into each design phase and strengthening verification and adjustment during building operation are crucial for enhancing overall efficiency.
