Summary

This study surveyed the expectation factors and satisfaction of culinary major students. Students considered personal suitability and grades important when choosing a major, and there were gender differences in the perceived importance of future development potential and tuition. Changes in expectations regarding social recognition and fieldwork opportunities were observed before and after enrollment, and overall satisfaction was related to education, personal development, and professor interaction.
