Long-term Effects of Written Corrective Feedback on Korean EFL Students’ Writing

Author

Journal Title

Publication Year

Summary

This study investigated the long-term effects of unfocused direct corrective feedback on Korean EFL students’ writing accuracy. Analysis of essays and error correction data from 2010 and 2011 revealed no significant short-term impact of corrective feedback, but considerable improvement over time. However, no clear difference was found between the experimental and control groups, suggesting the need for further research.
