Summary

This study investigated the status of safety accidents experienced by early childhood teachers in early childhood education institutions and analyzed the differences in safety accident occurrence according to background variables. A survey of 275 teachers from kindergartens and daycare centers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province revealed that over half (50.9%) of early childhood teachers had experienced a safety accident in the past year, and statistically significant differences were observed based on the type of early childhood education institution, teacher age, and experience.
