Summary

This study explored the in-depth understanding and perceptions of early childhood teachers regarding art and art education to investigate the intrinsic value of art education. The results revealed that while early childhood teachers recognize artistic experiences as a source of vitality and crucial for children’s emotional development, they tend to perceive art and art education as separate entities. These findings are expected to contribute to a broader interpretation of the value of art in early childhood education.
