This study analyzes the standards of integrity and morality required of high-ranking public officials in Korea from the perspective of legal system consistency. The current laws and regulations regarding integrity and morality are scattered across various statutes, causing problems in the legal system, and it is urgent to improve them to establish ethical standards for public officials. Modern integrity should encompass not only the concept of anti-corruption but also a proactive attitude towards public service.
