Summary

This study analyzes the vibration transfer mechanism of the suspension for reducing brake judder, which is caused by uneven contact between the brake disc and pad, and proposes an optimal design. A judder simulation was performed using multi-body dynamic analysis, and the analytical model was verified by comparing it with test results. Furthermore, an optimization method using the design of experiments was presented to confirm the judder reduction effect.
