This study investigated the types and brewing methods of Korean traditional alcoholic drinks recorded in ancient culinary manuscripts of head families (Soowoonjabbang, Eumsikdimibang, Onjubub, Jusiksiui, Uumjeabang, Eumsikbangmunnira). Traditional alcoholic drinks were classified into seven categories based on characteristics and five categories based on preconditioning methods, with Onjubub recording the largest number of varieties (57 types).
