Summary

This study investigated the anti-hyperlipidemic and anti-oxidative effects of Ikgihwaetang-gamibang (IK) in mice induced by a high-fat diet. Administration of IK resulted in a reduction of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglyceride, and glucose in blood serum, while HDL cholesterol levels increased. Furthermore, the production of IL-1β, IL-6, ROS, and NO also decreased, suggesting the potential of IK for the prevention and treatment of hyperlipidemia and associated diseases.
