Summary

This study analyzes the economic impact of mountain hiking expenditure on production, value-added, and employment using input-output analysis. The results show that mountain hiking significantly contributes to increased production and job creation, with the employment inducement effect of hiking goods purchases being higher than that of other major industries. Therefore, policies promoting mountain hiking can be an effective solution to the problem of "growth without employment."
