This study aims to analyze the symbolic meaning of changes in gender concepts in the digital era as expressed in fashion design, and to suggest directions for future fashion design. Gender concepts in the digital era are characterized by nomadism, horizontality, and boundarylessness, and are symbolized by masquerade, artificiality, and integration in fashion design. These gender concepts pursue open design in fashion design, and an open attitude towards gender is expected to continue in the post-digital era.
