Summary

As the diversity of society makes it difficult to understand with a single way of thinking, literature education needs to approach from various perspectives, moving away from normative thinking. In the 1980s, the concept of ‘interculturality’ emerged in German literature education, viewing literary phenomena from multiple perspectives through cultural distance, and contributed to securing the validity of literary research in line with the changing times.
