Summary

This study investigated the core competencies perceived by Seoul National University professors for university students and the extent to which these competencies are fostered through university education. The results showed that core competencies required for university students include major knowledge, learning ability, creativity, logical thinking, interpersonal skills, leadership, values formation, and attitude, with major knowledge, creativity, and values being considered important.
