Summary

The Silla kingdom adopted the Samsanohak System to govern the country and strengthen royal power, and a Chinese princess skilled in magic settled in Jirisan Mountain as a mountain goddess, becoming a deity protecting the nation. Mountain worship in Jirisan gradually evolved with Buddhist characteristics, and Sungmocheonwang transformed into various forms from the Silla period to the Joseon dynasty, becoming integrated into folk beliefs.
