Summary

This study analyzed the elementary school practical arts curriculum to extract writing-related content and developed a practical arts writing program to verify its effect on elementary school students' creative problem-solving skills. The results showed that the practical arts writing program had a positive effect on students’ creative problem-solving skills, particularly in all areas such as fluency, flexibility, elaboration, and originality, and contributed to increasing students’ interest in practical arts.
