This study examines the characteristics of multicultural societies and the phenomenon of multicultural crime resulting from the increase of foreign residents in Korea. It emphasizes the importance of residence policies that accept foreign residents as members of society, promoting diversity and integration. Furthermore, it suggests the need to improve discriminatory perspectives on crimes arising as side effects of multicultural societies, minimize social conflict, and strengthen national security.
