This study examines the civil law aspects of purification responsibility under the Soil Environmental Protection Law, analyzing the rights of the purchaser and the responsibilities of the seller in transactions involving polluted soil. Specifically, the purchaser can claim purification costs and damages from the seller due to soil contamination, and argues for the need for a specific Environmental Liability Law despite the regulation of strict liability.
