Summary

This study analyzed teacher perceptions of the effectiveness of promotion points for teachers contributing to school violence prevention, and the results showed that most teachers opposed the granting of promotion points. The reasons were analyzed as unreasonable relative evaluation, ambiguous selection criteria, and factors hindering the harmony of the school community. In particular, teachers with 10-20 years of teaching experience perceived the effectiveness of promotion points as low, and preferred the abolition of points or rewards such as advanced case training.
