Summary

This study analyzed traffic accident data and injury statistics in Busan Metropolitan City to develop an evidence-based traffic safety program aimed at improving traffic safety. The analysis revealed that males experienced higher rates of traffic accidents than females, and accident occurrences were concentrated during specific age groups and times. Based on these findings, a traffic safety program incorporating age-specific education, environmental improvements, and stricter regulations was developed.
