Summary

This study comparatively analyzed the impact of boundaryless career attitude on job mobility among employees of Korean and foreign firms. The results showed that foreign firm employees had a higher preference for mobility than Korean firm employees, and preference for mobility was positively correlated with job mobility in both foreign and overall employee groups. While the external labor market influences job mobility for foreign firm employees, job mobility is limited for Korean firm employees due to their reliance on the internal labor market.
