Summary
This study conducted a phenomenological research to deeply understand the experiences of sports counselor trainees during counseling. The results showed that trainees were motivated to introduce psychological skills to athletes while also worrying about their own immaturity, and they faced practical difficulties such as doubts about counseling effectiveness and discrepancies between field practice and lectures. Through these experiences, the trainees grew as sports counseling professionals and developed their expertise.
