Summary

This study analyzed factors related to job satisfaction, attitudes, and health of non-regular workers from the perspective of Buddhist social ethics and communitarianism. Analysis of the Labor Panel Survey data revealed that job satisfaction of non-regular workers negatively affects organizational commitment but positively affects life satisfaction and health status. Providing opportunities for skilled technology and career development is important for strengthening organizational commitment, which aligns with the values of equality and harmony emphasized in Buddhist social ethics.
