This study analyzes the current status and problems of the Consumer-oriented Management System Certification, which was introduced to expand trust between consumers and businesses and promote consumer rights. Currently, the system suffers from a lack of awareness, difficulties for SMEs in meeting certification requirements, and low expectations from large enterprises, requiring improvements such as a lack of legal delegation and insufficient diversification of evaluations.
