Summary

This study evaluated the efficiency of the government's commercialization support project for BT industry-related companies in Jeju using the DEA model. The analysis showed that the average efficiency of the BCC model was higher than that of the CCR model, and the analysis of 2012-2013 data confirmed that the effect of business support appeared as performance with a time lag. This suggests that the DEA evaluation methodology is appropriate for analyzing the efficiency of commercialization support projects and proposes an evaluation system for selecting and fostering leading companies within the industry.
