Summary

This study explores the internal representation of Frank Mouris’s collage animation *Frank Film* through the concept of Walter Benjamin’s dialectical image. The work intensely visually captures autobiographical stories and consumer society through the overlapping and intersection of industrialized images, and is recognized as an innovative art animation and preserved as a National Film in the U.S. Library of Congress. It presents an experimental aesthetic that embodies new relational values in time, where the past and present have independent values from Benjamin’s perspective.
