This research addresses the issue that inadequate trade rule-making in the rapidly progressing communications convergence environment increases the risk of trade disputes between Korea and its major trading partners. By examining trade regulations related to communications under multilateral and regional trading systems, including the WTO dispute settlement process, and comparing domestic laws with international trade obligations, the study identifies potential dispute risks.
