Summary

This study analyzed the factors influencing organizational members' Facebook usage and the effectiveness of Facebook policies. Differences in knowledge creation, NWRC, social capital, and job performance were observed based on session duration rather than access frequency, and access frequency and session duration differed depending on whether the Facebook policy permitted or prohibited usage. These findings provide information necessary for organizations to make decisions regarding Facebook policies.
