Summary

This thesis explores the aesthetic directivity of 1920s Korean poetry theory in relation to traditional aesthetics and symbol aesthetics. Through the analysis of essays by Kim-Eok, Kim-Sowol, Baek-Daejin, and Hwang-seokwoo, the study reveals that traditional aesthetics and symbol aesthetics formed a complementary relationship rather than a mutually exclusive one.
