Summary

This study analyzed the differences in basic learning variables, perceptions of multicultural education, Korean language proficiency, and importance of Korean language among over 460 multicultural families nationwide. The results suggest that to provide effective Korean language education, textbook levels should be adjusted according to learners' academic background and perceptions, and lecture material selection, class time adjustment, and class organization should be efficiently implemented based on perceptions of multicultural education and difficulty levels.
