Summary

This study classified self-regulated learning types based on the combination of self-regulation motivation, behavior, and learning strategies in adolescents, and analyzed the differences in academic achievement, academic emotion, and perceived parent-child relationship among the types. The results showed that self-regulated learning types were classified into four clusters, and significant differences were found in academic achievement, positive/negative emotions, and perceived parent-child relationship depending on the type. Specifically, higher levels of self-regulated learning were associated with higher academic achievement, more positive emotions, and more positive perceptions of the parent-child relationship.
