Summary

This study explored the peer relationship experiences of 33 multicultural adolescents in a multicultural alternative school in Seoul through ethnographic research. The results showed that multicultural adolescents approach peer relationships using nonverbal strategies, and teasing and bullying are frequent but can also be motivated by a desire for attention. Furthermore, personality significantly influences peer preference, and they tend to accept the diversity of their peers.
