This study analyzed the oral narrative and self-narrative test results of P, a North Korean defector who successfully adapted to South Korea, to explore the factors contributing to their success and the impact of self-narrative characteristics on their life. The analysis revealed that P sustained their current life by remembering the defection process, showed interest in the adaptation of others, and exhibited both obsessive and histrionic traits.
