Summary

This study comparatively analyzed the technical features of Korean-based AAC mobile applications to provide evidence for selecting appropriate apps for AAC intervention. The analysis of 15 apps revealed that picture symbol-based apps and Android-based apps were most common, with synthesized speech output and touch-based access methods being primarily used.
