Summary
This study aims to propose a direction for developing a competency-based academic Korean listening curriculum in response to the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and to suggest a curriculum based on it. Through analysis of prior research and case studies, the concept of core competency is revisited, and implications for developing an effective listening curriculum are derived.
