Summary

This study explores the possibility of applying French and German films to multicultural education in elementary, middle, and high schools. A French animated film is effective for understanding cultural relativity and improving multicultural sensitivity, a French short film for fostering empathy between immigrants and natives, and a German film for learning reconciliation across cultural, racial, and national differences. Through film analysis and teacher guidance, students can improve their ability to understand others.
