Summary
This study investigated the impact of high school Taekwondo coaches' leadership types on athlete satisfaction and team effectiveness. The results showed that the coach's training and directive behavior, and authoritarian behavior positively influenced task accomplishment satisfaction, while democratic behavior, social support behavior, and positive reward behavior positively influenced social interaction satisfaction. Furthermore, athlete satisfaction was found to have a positive impact on peer satisfaction, team satisfaction and immersion, and team performance perception.
