Summary

This study developed a standardized tool to measure mathematical attitudes of middle school students and analyzed their characteristics. The developed tool consists of five factors: interest in mathematics, confidence, parental/teacher interest, and self-regulation, and examined differences in attitudes based on gender and academic achievement. Students with higher academic achievement levels showed more positive attitudes towards mathematics, and male students showed higher confidence in specific factors compared to female students.

중국 도시문화와 전지구화 사회과학대학 인류학과

현대 중국의 도시는 “중국 특색의 사회주의”를 통한 중국의 성공적 경제성장과 전지구화를 보여주는 가장 가시적인 사례로 여겨진다. 그러나 작금의 중국 도시는 이전의 사회주의 시기, 더 소급하여 전근대 시기에도 존재했으며, 그 규모에 있어서도 당대 서구사회의 도시에 비견하거나 더 복합적이었다. 본 수업에서는 이러한 중국 도시의 전개 과정을 전근대 시기와 사회주의 시기, 그리고 1980년대 개혁 · 개방 이후 시기로 나눠 살펴본다. 특히 도시라는 물질적 공간에 의미를 부여하는 문화적 측면에 집중하여, 중국 도시문화를 특징짓는 혼종성(hybridity)을 만들어 낸 장기지속으로서의 역사적 과정과 단기간에 폭증한 전지구화 과정에 주목하고, 이러한 상황에 중국 인민이 어떠한 반응을 보였는가를 조명한다.
