Summary

This study investigated the relationships among individual factors (self-esteem, resilience), peer factors (peer attachment), and parental factors (parental over-interference) influencing middle school students’ school adaptation using structural equation modeling. The results showed that self-esteem and resilience directly affected school adaptation, while peer attachment influenced school adaptation through self-esteem, and parental over-interference affected school adaptation through self-esteem and resilience.
