Summary

This study investigated the effect of global literature reading classes utilizing graphic organizers on the improvement of English reading ability and intercultural sensitivity of elementary school students. The results showed that global literature classes enhanced students' vocabulary knowledge and reading skills, and increased intercultural sensitivity including interaction participation and respect for cultural differences. Notably, the development of intercultural sensitivity was significantly higher in female students than in male students.
